Pomellato

Fantina

Seamless open ellipses of rose or white gold, edged with pavé and tapering to points, drawn from the clean lines of the riding world.

Perlée

Van Cleef & Arpels

Perlée

The house's oldest ornament, the polished gold bead, made into the whole jewel: bangles, rings and hoops lined with rows of tiny golden spheres.

Fantina draws a continuous line, Perlée a dotted one. Pomellato's 2020 loop in rose gold is paved along one edge and tapered at the ends, with no visible clasp. Perlée breaks the line into points, rows of gold beads that Van Cleef & Arpels used as an edging from the 1920s before giving them their own collection in 2008. Fantina evokes the clean geometry of the riding world; Perlée, its house's oldest ornament.
