Macri

Yellow and white gold engraved with thousands of hair-fine parallel rigato lines that catch light like silk moiré, starred with diamonds set in tiny rosettes.

Antifer four-row ring in pink gold, each row rising to a point, on a light grey ground.

Antifer

A band with one sharp peak, named after a Normandy cliff, repeated row on row until the ring becomes a ridge.

Look at Macri from the front and at Antifer from the side. Buccellati's piece is all surface: yellow and white gold engraved with hair-fine parallel lines, lit with small diamonds in star-shaped settings, later joined by Andrea Buccellati's AB and lily emblems. Repossi's ring is all silhouette, a row of sharp peaks named after a Normandy cliff, multiplied by Gaia Repossi from 2013 until the ring becomes a ridge.
