Le Petit Cactus

The flower of the vanilla cactus, which opens for one night a year, made as a small burst of rose gold stamens around a single stone.

Redouté painted the vanilla cactus at Marie-Antoinette's request, and Laure-Isabelle Mellerio, fourteenth generation of the family that served the queen, drew Le Petit Cactus from it in 2019: rose-gold stamens bursting around one stone, scattered on fine chains and studs. Divas' Dream draws on a more public source, the mosaic floors of the Baths of Caracalla, whose ginkgo-leaf fan Bulgari has set in gold, pavé and inlaid stone since 2016.
