Les Pétales Place Vendôme

Cupped rose petals of pavé diamonds drift against a round pearl, as if blown across the Place Vendôme.

A pearl is the given at Mikimoto, where Kokichi Mikimoto first cultured one in 1893, and Les Pétales Place Vendôme sets cupped diamond petals around an Akoya or South Sea pearl as if blown across the Paris square. Cartier's Grain de Café begins with gold instead, a full coffee bean drawn by Jeanne Toussaint in 1938, grooved, clustered, and since 2023 edged with diamonds and made in two tones.
