A peacock feather drawn barb by barb in pavé, its eye marked by a single larger diamond, curling round the finger or falling from a chain.

Les Pétales Place Vendôme

Cupped rose petals of pavé diamonds drift against a round pearl, as if blown across the Place Vendôme.

The square named in Les Pétales Place Vendôme has been Boucheron's address since 1893, when it became the first jeweller to open there. Mikimoto imagines rose petals blown across it: cupped planes of close-set diamonds drifting against an Akoya or South Sea pearl. Boucheron's own Plume de Paon predates the move by three decades, a peacock feather the house dates to 1860, now made as rings and as long feather necklaces as well as pendants.
