Les Pétales Place Vendôme at MIKIMOTO

The story

Mikimoto describes the line as rose petals dancing over the Place Vendôme; it does not publish a launch year or designer. Each petal is a curved, slightly hollowed plane of small diamonds set close against an Akoya or South Sea pearl, and a pink-gold branch, Rosés, runs up to a six-row Akoya choker. In Japan the same falling-petal idea has a Tokyo counterpart, Les Pétales de Ginza.

Lineage

  • Akoya cultured pearl strand of matched white pearls laid in a circle, with a small yellow gold clasp
