Les Pétales Place Vendôme

Cupped rose petals of pavé diamonds drift against a round pearl, as if blown across the Place Vendôme.

Calla

One smooth cone, furled like a calla lily, hung alone on a necklace whose clasp disappears.

Petals scattered by the wind against a pearl give Les Pétales Place Vendôme its movement: Mikimoto cups each one slightly, paves it with small diamonds and sets it beside an Akoya or South Sea pearl. Calla holds still. Vhernier's design, unchanged in principle since 1998, is a single cone of polished gold furled like a lily, hung on a chain whose clasp disappears, with an ebony version whose grain recalls a teak deck.
