Torsade de Chaumet

Ropes of gold and diamonds twisting freely round a straight line of stones, after the spiral frieze that climbs the Vendôme Column outside the house's windows.

Jeux de Rubans

Ribbons of pavé white gold or plain pink gold loop and cross behind a single Akoya pearl, as if a present had just been tied.

Torsade de Chaumet, presented in July 2021, twists ropes of white gold and diamonds round a straight line of Mozambique rubies, Colombian emeralds or Ceylon sapphires, echoing the frieze on the column outside the house. Mikimoto's Jeux de Rubans bends the same diamond-set white gold, or bare pink gold, into ribbons that loop behind a single Akoya pearl like the wrapping of a gift. Monument and present, tiara and pendant.
