Belle Époque

Round diamonds alternating with rubies, sapphires or emeralds round a band, like frames on a reel of film running past.

Marrakech

Marco Bicego

Marrakech

Fine 18k gold wire wound into tight springy coils, gathered into strands that flex and drape against the wrist and throat like fabric.

Each line goes back a generation. Belle Époque grew from sketches by Enrico Grassi Damiani, the founder, drawn after a stay in Paris; Marrakech grew from the coiled chain Marco Bicego learned to make in the Trissino workshop his father opened in 1958. The results differ in every material way: diamonds and coloured stones running round a band like film frames, against yellow gold wire wound into soft, springy strands.
