Allegra or Marrakech

Allegra

de Grisogono

Allegra

Thin rings spiralled together so they look randomly stacked: one jewel that reads as many, wound around each other.

Marrakech

Marco Bicego

Marrakech

Fine 18k gold wire wound into tight springy coils, gathered into strands that flex and drape against the wrist and throat like fabric.

Allegra twists thin rings of rose or white gold round one another until a single piece seems stacked at random, de Grisogono's way, from 2003, of picturing the bond between two people. Marrakech winds wire on a much smaller scale, fine yellow gold coiled into springs and bundled into strands, an inheritance from the Bicego family chain workshop. Allegra is no longer sold, the Geneva house having had no storefront since its 2020 bankruptcy.
