B.zero1

A spiral band that climbs the finger like the tiers of the Colosseum, held between two rims engraved BVLGARI BVLGARI.

Allegra

de Grisogono

Allegra

Thin rings spiralled together so they look randomly stacked: one jewel that reads as many, wound around each other.

A spiral is the idea in both, used to opposite effect. B.zero1, Bulgari's 1999 ring, coils between two engraved rims in an orderly climb. Allegra, launched in Geneva four years later, winds thin rings round each other so they look randomly stacked, a single jewel pretending to be several. Bulgari's spiral is architecture and logo at once. De Grisogono's stands for two people intertwined and carries the name of Fawaz Gruosi's first child.
