Allegra

de Grisogono

Allegra

Thin rings spiralled together so they look randomly stacked: one jewel that reads as many, wound around each other.

Fantina bangle: an open rose-gold loop with a pavé-set inner edge and a diamond-tipped end, on a pale grey ground.

Pomellato

Fantina

Seamless open ellipses of rose or white gold, edged with pavé and tapering to points, drawn from the clean lines of the riding world.

Rose and white gold with diamonds supply both, and the drawing could hardly differ more. Fantina, Pomellato's 2020 line, is one clean open ellipse tapering to points, every clasp hidden, inspired by the riding world. Allegra, de Grisogono's 2003 emblem, tangles thin spirals into a seemingly random stack. Pomellato named its piece for a woman jockey; Fawaz Gruosi named his for his first-born daughter. One is a single stroke, the other a scribble made deliberate.
