Laurence Graff Signature

The facets of a cut diamond carried over into solid gold: bands, cuffs and chains whose surfaces break into sharp planes like a polished stone.

Antifer

A band with one sharp peak, named after a Normandy cliff, repeated row on row until the ring becomes a ridge.

Angles define Laurence Graff Signature and Antifer, though their sources differ. Graff's planes come from the facets of a cut diamond, carved into gold by artisans who set the stones last. Repossi's peak comes from a cliff on the Normandy coast, repeated in rows from two to ten. Graff adds rings that spin and chains cut into facets; Repossi adds black gold and hard-stone studs of malachite, onyx and turquoise. In both, the edge is the ornament.
