Gatsby

A line of pavé drawn as a single straight stroke (a bar on a chain, a band, a hoop), the geometry of a 1920s diamond bracelet pared to one gesture.

Sabbia ring: a rounded dome covered in white and brown diamonds of different sizes, on a rose-gold band, on a pale grey ground.

Sabbia

Diamonds of mixed sizes, cuts and colours (white, brown, black) set unevenly over a domed surface, so the pavé glitters like sand under sun or moonlight.

Sabbia uses diamonds as texture: white, brown and black stones of mixed sizes, set at uneven heights over a rounded surface, the way sand catches light. Pomellato wanted the eye to read grain, not rows. Gatsby keeps the rows and pares them to one. Messika's pavé runs as a single straight stroke on bars, slim bands and hoops in three sizes, a 1920s geometry meant for layering, and its order is as deliberate as Sabbia's disorder.
