Flat, rounded petals modelled on the papery, moon-like seed pods of the honesty plant, in gold, diamond pavé or thin slices of mother-of-pearl and coloured stone.

Le Petit Cactus

The flower of the vanilla cactus, which opens for one night a year, made as a small burst of rose gold stamens around a single stone.

One flower opens for a single night; the other plant is grown for what it leaves behind. Laure-Isabelle Mellerio took Le Petit Cactus from the vanilla cactus, which Redouté painted for Marie-Antoinette, and in 2019 made its bloom a small burst of rose-gold stamens around one stone. Lunaria follows the honesty plant's seed pods, papery discs that last long after the flowers fade and that Marco Bicego was already making in gold by 2016.
