Chopard

Ice Cube

A band divided into small gold cubes with chamfered edges, so light breaks across it like ice.

Iconica Large ring: a wide, smooth rose-gold band with rounded edges and the Pomellato signature engraved inside, on a pale grey ground.

Pomellato

Iconica

A wide gold band with rounded, pillowy edges and the Pomellato signature engraved inside, made in widths from extra-slim to bold so several can crowd one finger.

Stack three Iconica rings and the finger disappears under smooth, pillowy gold; stack three Ice Cube bands and it becomes a grid of tiny chamfered blocks. Pomellato's band, reworked in 2017 from one it first made in 1970, comes in several widths. Chopard's, from 1999, keeps a narrow profile, so each band adds texture rather than width. Iconica is soft to the eye and swells at the edge. Ice Cube, cut by diamond-tipped tools and finished by hand, is crisp from every angle.
