Elsa Peretti Bone Cuff

A cuff modelled on the bones of the wrist, its edges rolled and its surface dipped, so the metal reads as anatomy rather than ornament.

Abbraccio

Vhernier

Abbraccio

A ring named for an embrace, one of the first shapes Vhernier made, offered in plain gold or entirely paved with diamonds held by two prongs each.

Bone and embrace, the body in two registers. Vhernier named Abbraccio for the gesture of holding someone; one of its first rings, it is made in rose or white gold, plain or covered in 572 diamonds. Elsa Peretti drew the Bone Cuff in 1970 from the wrist's own structure, with memories of Rome's Capuchin Crypt and of Gaudí, and Tiffany has cast it since 1974 in silver or gold, separately for each wrist.
