The Cable Collection

Strands of metal twisted into a helix and bent into an open cuff, its two ends capped with gold and a coloured stone.

Abbraccio

Vhernier

Abbraccio

A ring named for an embrace, one of the first shapes Vhernier made, offered in plain gold or entirely paved with diamonds held by two prongs each.

Twisted strands bent into an open cuff and capped with gold and a coloured stone have been David Yurman's constant since 1982, when the welder-sculptor gave a twist to the wires of an earlier bracelet; the Cable Collection has since moved into silver with gold. Vhernier's Abbraccio dates from roughly the same period, one of the first rings of a house founded in Valenza in 1984, made in rose or white gold, plain or under 572 diamonds.
