The story

Tiffany launched HardWear in spring 2017 from a bracelet in its archive, which the house dates to 1962 and some press to 1971. The house presents it as a portrait of Manhattan, raw and mechanical. The single bracelet grew into graduated necklaces, chain-wrap bracelets, earrings and rings, later with pavé-set links and pearl accents.

    Parentesi, Bulgari (1982)

HardWear takes up the single link repeated into a necklace and gives it the weight of industrial gauge chain.

  • Catene ring: large polished rose-gold gourmette links mounted on a solid band, on a pale grey ground.

    Catene, Pomellato (2021)

Catene blows the gold link up until three or four of them make the whole ring.
