Catene

The plump gourmette link Pomellato has made since its first season, blown up and softened until three or four articulated links become the whole ring.

Tiffany HardWear

A chain of oversized gauge links, each joined by a polished gold ball, takes the look of industrial hardware and wears it at the throat and wrist.

HardWear came out of the Tiffany archive in 2017, its oversized gauge links joined by gold balls and pitched as a portrait of raw, mechanical Manhattan. Pomellato's Catene came in 2021 from the gourmette chain on which Pino Rabolini founded the house in 1967, enlarged and softened until a few links make a ring. Each house sized up a link from its own past. HardWear stays hard and industrial. Catene rounds every edge, as if the gold had been inflated.
