Tiffany HardWear

A chain of oversized gauge links, each joined by a polished gold ball, takes the look of industrial hardware and wears it at the throat and wrist.

Polished gold balls hold Tiffany HardWear together, fastening one oversized gauge link to the next in a chain launched in 2017 from an archive bracelet and presented as raw, mechanical Manhattan. On DoDo's Pepita, from 2000, the rounded bead is the whole idea, each one shaped like a sea-worn pebble and slightly irregular, threaded into unisex bracelets, rings and earrings. The same round form serves as a joint in New York and as the jewel itself in Milan.
