Granelli at DoDo

The story

Granelli arrived with the brand itself in 1994, its grains modelled on the sand of the Mauritian shore. Each grain is sold on its own, so a bracelet can begin with a few on a cord and fill up over the years; the full rose-gold bracelet closes with a T-bar. The family now also takes in Mini Granelli and hoop earrings.

Lineage

  • Pepita bracelet: a circle of smooth, slightly irregular rose-gold beads closed by a white-metal T-bar, on a white ground

    Pepita, DoDo (2000)

Pepita swaps the dimpled grains for gold pebbles worn smooth by the sea, each a little irregular, threaded the same way.
