Freccia
An arrowhead of carved rock crystal domed over thin slices of coloured stone, so the colour seems to float deep inside a lens, set in smooth polished gold.

The story
Freccia, Italian for arrow, is built on trasparenza, the layering Angela Camurati worked out in the 1980s to make colour come forward: an opaque or translucent stone sits beneath a carved lens of rock crystal. A ring might stack black jade, opal and crystal. For its Dubai Mall boutique in 2018 Vhernier made a blue Freccia suite of ring, earrings and a cuff of arrowheads in rose gold, with one arrow in diamonds.
