Nudo

The story

Pomellato launched Nudo in 2001 as a ring stripped to one stone and a band, first in garnet, peridot, iolite and red tourmaline; the colours sold out almost at once. A Classic takes the Milan workshop about four days, and the house holds copyright on both the design and the cut. Over twenty years it grew into Petit and Maxi sizes, stone doublets, the frosted Gelé finish, pendants (2016), a bracelet (2018), a sautoir (2019) and high jewellery in La Gioia (2020).

Pain de Sucre shares Nudo's taste for colour over fire and raises it into a tall sugarloaf cabochon that can be changed at will.
