Mimosa

The mimosa, a shrub that flowers whatever the weather, made into a diamond flower and dedicated to women.

In Italy mimosa is the flower given to women every 8 March, and Damiani's Mimosa carries a similar dedication: Damiano Grassi Damiani, the founder's son, made it for his wife Gabriella and daughter Silvia before widening it to all women. It is set in white gold and diamonds, and a Mimosa Eternal Blue necklace was among the hundred pieces made for the 2024 centenary. Boucheron's Plume de Paon speaks of display rather than devotion, a peacock's tail feather drawn in pavé since 1860.
