Mimosa
The mimosa, a shrub that flowers whatever the weather, made into a diamond flower and dedicated to women.
A compass shaped Harry Winston's Sunflower in 1950: one round brilliant, eight matched stones, strict symmetry in platinum, with sapphire and ruby versions alongside the diamonds. The mimosa offers no such order in nature, a shrub of small yellow pompoms that blooms whatever the weather, and Damiani's Mimosa keeps the plant's resilience as its meaning, a dedication from Damiano Grassi Damiani to his wife and daughter. Diamonds carry both, but only the Damiani flower carries a dedication.
