The story
Damiano Grassi Damiani, the founder's son, created Mimosa as a tribute to his wife Gabriella and his daughter Silvia, choosing the hardy shrub that blooms in all weathers; the dedication was later widened to all women. For the house's centenary in 2024 a Mimosa Eternal Blue necklace was among the hundred commemorative pieces, and its sketch was printed on an Italian postage stamp.
