Buccellati

Opera

The Buccellati emblem, a four-petalled rosette of winding lines, cut out and worn as the jewel itself: in engraved gold, in diamond pavé, or laid over a pierced tulle lattice.

Mimosa

Damiani

Mimosa

The mimosa, a shrub that flowers whatever the weather, made into a diamond flower and dedicated to women.

A family dedication sits behind Mimosa. The founder's son, Damiano Grassi Damiani, made it for his wife Gabriella and daughter Silvia, choosing a shrub that blooms in any weather, and later offered it to all women; the sketch of a centenary Mimosa necklace was printed on an Italian postage stamp. Opera's dedication is to a house and to a city's music: Buccellati's own rosette emblem, worn whole since 2015 and named with La Scala in mind.
