Quatre

Four bands, each carrying one archive motif (grosgrain ribbing, a line of diamonds, Clou de Paris facets, a double gadroon) pressed together into a single ring.

B.zero1

A spiral band that climbs the finger like the tiers of the Colosseum, held between two rims engraved BVLGARI BVLGARI.

Each ring wears its house on the outside. B.zero1 carries BVLGARI BVLGARI on the two rims that hold its spiral, a Roman ring of 1999. Quatre carries Boucheron's archive instead: four motifs, the oldest from the 1860s, made as separate bands and pressed into one ring in 2004. Both have since gone into ceramic, Quatre in a White Edition of 2011 and a Black one a year later. One spells a name; the other recites a history, band by band.
