Parentesi or Pepita

Parentesi
A bracket-shaped gold link, repeated and locked into necklaces and bracelets like the joints between Roman paving stones.
Pepita
Gold beads shaped like pebbles worn smooth by the sea, each a little irregular, threaded into bracelets, rings and earrings meant for anyone.
DoDo's Pepita beads, from 2000, are modelled on pebbles polished by sea and wind, each slightly irregular and threaded side by side into bracelets, rings and earrings. The bracket links of Parentesi, introduced by Gianni Bulgari in 1982, recall stone of another kind, the joints between the travertine slabs of Roman streets, locked into necklaces and bracelets. Parentesi is architecture, precise and interlocking; Pepita is a handful of shoreline.
