Precious Lace

Diamonds set in scalloped gold openwork that reads like antique lace, cut into tutu ruffles, waves and hearts.

Lunaria

Marco Bicego

Lunaria

Flat, rounded petals modelled on the papery, moon-like seed pods of the honesty plant, in gold, diamond pavé or thin slices of mother-of-pearl and coloured stone.

Openwork lets light into Precious Lace: Chopard's diamond-set gold, scalloped and scrolled like antique lace, was shown as high jewelry in 2016 and now forms a small line of ruffles, waves and hearts in ethical rose or white gold. Lunaria owes its lightness to a plant, the honesty, sometimes called the money plant for its coin-like pods. Marco Bicego gives those pods solid outlines in yellow gold and fills some with aquamarine.
