Mimosa or Lunaria

Mimosa

Damiani

Mimosa

The mimosa, a shrub that flowers whatever the weather, made into a diamond flower and dedicated to women.

Lunaria

Marco Bicego

Lunaria

Flat, rounded petals modelled on the papery, moon-like seed pods of the honesty plant, in gold, diamond pavé or thin slices of mother-of-pearl and coloured stone.

A tough shrub and a fragile seed pod. Mimosa, which flowers in any weather, was Damiano Grassi Damiani's choice for a diamond jewel honouring his wife Gabriella and daughter Silvia, later offered to all women and set in white gold. Lunaria starts from the honesty plant's pods, thin enough to see the seeds through, and Marco Bicego keeps their round outline while making them durable in yellow gold, pavé or mother-of-pearl.
