Granelli

Small gold grains with dimpled surfaces, threaded side by side so a bracelet reads as a line of Mauritian sand.

Catene ring: large polished rose-gold gourmette links mounted on a solid band, on a pale grey ground.

Pomellato

Catene

The plump gourmette link Pomellato has made since its first season, blown up and softened until three or four articulated links become the whole ring.

Pomellato created DoDo in 1994, so these are cousins from the same Milan house, and both build with repeated units of gold. Granelli, DoDo's first motif, is a grain modelled on Mauritian sand, sold singly and added to a cord over time. Catene, from 2021, takes the gourmette link on which Pomellato was founded in 1967 and inflates it until three or four links form a whole ring. Granelli starts at €50 and Catene at €8,100, the family's two extremes of scale.
