Giardino

A four-petalled flower in openwork gold with a lace edge, set with one stone at its heart, taken from the gardens of Isola Madre on Lake Maggiore.

Lake Maggiore's Isola Madre, a half-wild island garden, gave Laure-Isabelle Mellerio the four petals of Giardino, cut in openwork gold with a lace edge around one coloured stone, a pink sapphire, ruby or tsavorite. Lunaria comes from a single plant rather than a whole garden. Marco Bicego follows the honesty's flat seed pods, solid where Giardino is pierced, in yellow gold, pavé or mother-of-pearl.
