Piaget Rose

A rose in layered gold petals, modelled on the 80-petal rose named after Yves Piaget, with a diamond at its heart.

Yves Piaget's rose, a Meilland variety named for him in 1982, has some eighty petals, and the Piaget Rose jewelry of 2012 layers them in sculpted rose gold around a diamond. Lunaria's petals are single and flat. Marco Bicego takes them from the honesty plant's seed pods and sets them side by side in yellow gold, in pavé or in thin slices of jade, with no stone at the heart.
