Marrakech

Fine 18k gold wire wound into tight springy coils, gathered into strands that flex and drape against the wrist and throat like fabric.

Berbère

Parallel rows of gold joined into a single ring, so one piece looks like a stack of bands.

Several rows that act as one: Berbère fuses parallel bands of gold into a single ring, ear cuff or hoop, the line with which Gaia Repossi made her name after taking over the family house in 2007, later lacquered in colour as Berbère Chromatic. Marrakech also gathers many strands into one piece, but its strands are springs of hand-coiled yellow wire, and the result yields and drapes where Berbère holds its architecture.
