Berbère

Parallel rows of gold joined into a single ring, so one piece looks like a stack of bands.

Several strands become one piece in each. Gaia Repossi joins parallel rows of gold, plain or paved, into a single Berbère ring that looks like a stack of bands; the line that made her reputation in the years after 2007. David Yurman twisted his strands together instead, in 1982, so Cable reads as rope rather than rows. Repossi's lines run straight round the finger and stay apart; Yurman's turn as they go, a helix bent into a cuff.
