Le Petit Cactus

The flower of the vanilla cactus, which opens for one night a year, made as a small burst of rose gold stamens around a single stone.

Les Pétales Place Vendôme

Cupped rose petals of pavé diamonds drift against a round pearl, as if blown across the Place Vendôme.

Marie-Antoinette and the Place Vendôme: France supplies the stories here. Le Petit Cactus, drawn by Laure-Isabelle Mellerio in 2019, recalls the vanilla cactus Redouté painted for the queen, a tiny burst of rose-gold stamens around one stone; a charm starts at €440. Mikimoto's Les Pétales Place Vendôme sets pavé rose petals against an Akoya pearl, its pendant from €7,200. The gap tracks the scale: a single small blossom on a fine chain, a pearl wreathed in diamonds.
