Repossi

Berbère

Parallel rows of gold joined into a single ring, so one piece looks like a stack of bands.

Abbraccio

Vhernier

Abbraccio

A ring named for an embrace, one of the first shapes Vhernier made, offered in plain gold or entirely paved with diamonds held by two prongs each.

Robert Mapplethorpe's foundation joined Repossi for a 2021 Berbère capsule, a sign of how close Gaia Repossi keeps her rings to the art world; the line itself fuses parallel rows of gold into one band and nods to Berber jewelry in its name. Abbraccio belongs to an earlier generation of Italian design, one of the first rings Vhernier made after 1984, in rose or white gold or entirely paved with 572 diamonds held by two prongs.
