The Cable Collection
Strands of metal twisted into a helix and bent into an open cuff, its two ends capped with gold and a coloured stone.
Ribbon and rope: among Quatre's four bands is grosgrain ribbing, set beside Clou de Paris facets and a double gadroon in the ring Solange Azagury-Partridge built for Boucheron in 2004. Cable twists metal strands like a rope, a form David Yurman found in 1982 and has repeated ever since in silver with gold. Quatre sets motif beside motif, each band a chapter of the archive; Cable stays with one gesture, a turn of the wire.
