Chopard

Ice Cube

A band divided into small gold cubes with chamfered edges, so light breaks across it like ice.

Fantina bangle: an open rose-gold loop with a pavé-set inner edge and a diamond-tipped end, on a pale grey ground.

Pomellato

Fantina

Seamless open ellipses of rose or white gold, edged with pavé and tapering to points, drawn from the clean lines of the riding world.

Chopard calls Ice Cube androgynous, and the 1999 band of small chamfered cubes is cut to suit any hand. Pomellato built Fantina around a woman rider: the name is Italian for a female jockey, and the 2020 launch was fronted by the equestrian Matilde Borromeo. The forms follow. Ice Cube is a grid of identical blocks, thin enough to stack in three golds or in HyCeram ceramic. Fantina is one open sweep of rose or white gold, tapering to points.
