Precious Lace

Diamonds set in scalloped gold openwork that reads like antique lace, cut into tutu ruffles, waves and hearts.

Mimosa

The mimosa, a shrub that flowers whatever the weather, made into a diamond flower and dedicated to women.

In Italy the mimosa is the flower handed out on International Women's Day, and Damiani's Mimosa carries a similar dedication: Damiano Grassi Damiani made it for his wife and daughter, then for all women, as a diamond bloom in white gold. Chopard's Precious Lace takes a less literal route to the flower, setting diamonds into scalloped openwork modelled on antique lace, from tutu ruffles to an opening corolla. Both are white on white, which leaves the outline to tell botany from needlework.
