The cable's round twist pressed into low relief, so the helix becomes a row of polished gold waves laid side by side.
Africa
Slightly lopsided beads of 18k yellow gold, each scored by hand with a burin into thousands of fine lines, strung in graduated rows so the satin surface glows rather than shines.
Polish and satin divide these two yellow-gold surfaces. Sculpted Cable, which David Yurman presented in September 2023, presses the house's round helix into low relief, a row of polished waves that keep the volume of the original twist. Africa's beads are matte by comparison, each scored by hand with a burin in the millerighe technique, so the gold glows rather than shines, and the strands are graduated from small to large.
