Sculpted Cable

The cable's round twist pressed into low relief, so the helix becomes a row of polished gold waves laid side by side.

Elsa Peretti Bone Cuff

A cuff modelled on the bones of the wrist, its edges rolled and its surface dipped, so the metal reads as anatomy rather than ornament.

Tiffany introduced the Bone Cuff in 1974; David Yurman showed Sculpted Cable in 2023, nearly fifty years later, in the same city. Both are broad pieces of polished metal that sit on the wrist like sculpture. Peretti's comes from bones and from Gaudí, its surface dipped where the anatomy would be. Yurman's comes from his own house's 1982 helix, flattened into a low row of gold waves that keep their volume. Peretti studied the arm; Yurman refined a signature his house had repeated for forty years.
