Allegra

Thin rings spiralled together so they look randomly stacked: one jewel that reads as many, wound around each other.

Berbère

Parallel rows of gold joined into a single ring, so one piece looks like a stack of bands.

Gaia Repossi aligns her rows; de Grisogono let its rings drift. Berbère fuses parallel bands of gold, plain or paved, so straight they recall modern art as much as the Berber jewelry in the name. Allegra, from 2003, coils slender rings together so they seem to have landed on the finger by chance. Repossi's ring made her name after she took the creative lead of her family's house in 2007. Berbère has since taken on coloured lacquer. Allegra stopped when its house failed in 2020.
