Piaget Solstice

Cocktail rings built like drinks: a large coloured centre stone dressed with gem garnish that opens away so the stone can be worn alone.

Le Cube Diamant is small enough to hang from a fine chain: an open gold cube with a round diamond inside, the circle against the square, as Jean Dinh Van made it in 1971. Piaget Solstice, presented in 2022, is a high jewelry cocktail ring, its coloured centre stone dressed with peridot, sapphires and rough diamonds that open away. Both ideas have travelled, the cube onto rings, earrings and bangles, the cocktail conceit into Piaget's boutique rings named for drinks such as Violet on the Rocks.
