Les Pétales Place Vendôme

Cupped rose petals of pavé diamonds drift against a round pearl, as if blown across the Place Vendôme.

The Place Vendôme is home address for one house and title for the other. Mellerio's Giardino, by Laure-Isabelle Mellerio, is an openwork four-petalled flower with a lace edge, set with one coloured stone, after the gardens of Isola Madre. Mikimoto's Les Pétales Place Vendôme imagines rose petals of pavé diamonds blown across that square, drifting against a round pearl. Mellerio anchors its flower with colour. Mikimoto's is white and airy, built around the pearl.
