Mellerio Cut

A diamond cut of the house's own, a softened oval that carries the memory of the Beau Sancy, worn alone inside a fine halo of pavé.

Serti sur Vide ring in white gold: two open bands joined by a short bar, with a pear-cut diamond held above them, on a light grey ground.

Serti sur Vide

A diamond held on a hidden bar so it seems to hover above the finger or the ear, with nothing visible beneath it.

Centuries separate the references. The Mellerio Cut recalls the Beau Sancy, a diamond favoured by Marie de Médicis in the early seventeenth century, in a softened oval of the house's own that sits inside a fine halo of pavé. Serti sur Vide refers to nothing older than itself: launched in 2014, it places the stone on a hidden bar so that it hovers above the skin. Mellerio works on the shape of the diamond, Repossi on the space beneath it.
