DoDo Nature

A small flat gold animal, the dodo first of all, hung on a coloured cotton cord, each creature sold with a message of its own.

Wladimir the cat and his companions in Animaux de Collection are portraits: pavé coats, layered-stone eyes, single characters sculpted to sit on the finger, with rings from €13,200. DoDo Nature's animals are tokens. Since 1994 the Milan brand has sold small flat gold charms, the extinct Mauritian dodo first, then octopus to giraffe, threaded on a coloured cord and each sold with a message, from €170. Both build a bestiary. Boucheron dates its own to its workshops in 1866; DoDo partnered with WWF in its first year.
