Little discs of gold, each with a stone at its centre, massed in rows and rings like the head of a buttercup.

The story
In 1936 the house introduced a motif of yellow gold discs with a stone set in the middle, close kin to the sequins on evening dresses of the decade, and used it on necklaces, clips and a Coupe clip of 1942. Bouton d'or revived it in 2016, mixing the polished gold discs with diamonds and with chrysoprase, onyx, carnelian and mother-of-pearl.
